Welcome to Sunday Date Night...

Let me share with you my culinary experiences in the city that never sleeps, in the city where restaurants open, close, move and change so often than you do not have to eat at the same place twice. I have been searching for special places that serve flavors I have never experienced before. I long for service that makes you feel special and places where you want to come back the very next day. For years my husband and I have been deliberately choosing places where we want to eat, no matter where on earth we are, we always look for local flavors made with passion, that transform simple meal into a celebration.

Sharing a meal is an important ritual that I believe brings people together. The most important moments of my life I shared with close to me people at my parents dinning table, celebrating, suffering or contemplating but always sharing a meal. Almost all of them were delicious creations of my mother, who till nowadays makes everything from scratch, tries new recipes and puts her own full of love spin on everything she serves. You never get disappointed and you always want more.

Each Sunday my husband and I will choose a special place, which you will read about the following Sunday morning. The good, the bad and the surprising sides of the dishes, service, décor and overall atmosphere of Sunday Date Night places. You will get the naked truth, which places will leave your belly happy and which may leave your taste buds disappointed.

Thank You for stoping by,

Karolina
